While some people might say that there is no way to make LTTP mountains "simple," I've done my best and come up with this. The graphics have been slimmed down to remove as many as 40+ non-vital tiles from the original LTTP version; ones which questmakers will most likely not be needing for their quests.

Rather than attempt to "shrink" the LTTP graphics, I've instead edited tiles that are redundant and hard to tell apart, so questmakers won't have such a hard time finding the tile they need.

To further help people learn how to use these LTTP mountains, I've included a example diagram and an "in-use" example screenshot, which shows the relative height of the ridges on the north, south, east, and west sides.

=== RIPPING ===

A total of *4* palettes are available for your convenience:

- DoR (tileset slated for release in August or September '05)
- LTTP (in case some LTTP users prefer this version of LTTP mountains)
- Sun Tower
- and finally Pure.

=== ANIMATION ===

Mountain tiles are not animated. Water combos will require the following animation:

Anim. Frames - 3
Anim. Speed - 10

Flip water tiles vertically and horizontally as needed to create the necessary combos.

=== USE ===

*DoR:*
You will need to rip the palette if you use this before the DoR tileset comes out, but otherwise it's rip-and-go.

*Sun Tower*
Just rip-and-go!

*LTTP*
Mountains are rip-and-go.

Water tiles are even easier in LTTP. The LTTP water tiles are laid out in the same pattern as the LTTP tileset. Thus, you can rip them over the existing tiles (making sure not to delete nearby tiles in the process) and use them without recreating any of the combos!

*Pure*
Pure has limitations. LTTP mountains use 4 browns, while Pure has only 3. Thus, you will need to use CSet 3, which has an extra dark green that I used as a replacement for brown.

The problem this presents is that water tiles need to use CSet 4. Therefore, you must use layering to correct the coloring problem. The necessary tiles are included in the Pure version files.

If you need any help, PM me before getting frustrated! I would like these tiles to be usable for anyone who wants to include them in their quest. Emoticon

- Marcus and Dart Zaidyer for LTTP tileset version 2.4.1, from which these tiles originated before being edited.

- Sludge, for his "Small Zelda 3 Mountains." The actual tiles were not used in this submission, but they helped me to learn how to use LTTP mountains, so he still deserves some credit. Emoticon
